California Coast

The state of California is not only beautiful but massive in area and population. It has a geographical and climatic zone to please just about everyone, plus a coastline that yields some fantastic photos.  Although; I have to admit that every region of California has superb camera potential I personally enjoy the Pacific shoreline. From the busy beaches in the south to the rugged, cliff-lined coast of the north; the scenery is panoramic in scale and awe.
The pictures that I chose to include this month are from Los Angeles, SanFrancisco and San Jose. They are photos that I took primarily in urban areas of all three cities. The city and beaches of greater Los Angeles, the wharf area of SanFrancisco and a hotel we stayed at in San Jose while attending a hockey game at the HP arena. The hotel in San Jose was not only next door to the hockey stadium but very close to the airport ---- thus the unusual shot of the aircraft with it's landing gear down.

I plan to exhibit much more of my California and Nevada pictures in the coming months. I hope you enjoy this latest blog and will leave a comment ----- pro or con.  Thanks
