MORE Black and White!

I decided to post some more black and white prints this month and all of these are from medium format film. They were primarily taken with a Rolleiflex 3.5 camera which produces a square image and was an extremely popular photographic tool up until the digital era began. They are still used by many today and are especially great for discreet street photography as you need not put the camera to your eye to capture the image. You merely focus on the ground glass at waist level or above your head. This aspect, as well as the quality of the lens made it necessary equipment for most newspapers and magazines. The Rolleiflex was probably my all-time favorite camera,if I were asked to choose.
